Ezra Paul Rainwater, a Wilmore businessman and community leader, died yesterday at his home at 204 Linden Street. He was 75. Mr. Rainwater, the father of Wilmore Mayor Harold Rainwater, had operated Rainwater Shoe Service, a shoe repair business, since 1950. He was also worked for the federal prison system for a long time and had been a Jessamine County deputy sheriff and Wilmore police officer.
