Survivors include a brother, Rollie McCarty, Nicholasville; two sisters, Mrs. Nona Grimes, Nicholasville, and Mrs. Billie Havely, Lexington. Six nieces, Mrs. Dean (Katherine) Hulett, Mrs. Tom (Tommie) Rizer, Mrs. Virginia Hager, Mrs. Anthony (Mitsy) Pine, Mrs. Norvel (Ann) ?, and Mrs. Will (Laura) Mason. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Guyn, Kurtz, Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home with the Rev. W. J. Arvin and Rev. David Waters, officiating. Burial was in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rich Mandt, William Walter Halfhill, Dr. Walter D. Harris, Jerry Garrett, Tom Harrod, Dean Hulett, and Anthony Pine.
